The legendary V40 from Swix is a go to kick wax for a "blue day". This wax can be used in a wide variety of snow conditions and the temperature range is larger than labeled on the canister. It can work into colder temperatures with a lot of success if you cover it with a colder wax like V20 or V30. Binder suggestions for this wax is dependent on the snow conditions. In more abrasive conditions we suggest waxes like Vauhti GS Base Super or Start Extra Base. In less abrasive conditions we suggest looking towards Rex Base Wax or Vauhti GS Base AT.
